Once the cold weather hits, you may prefer to cuddle in at your warm home. But there are so many spots to be discovered, with more fun and even more than in the summer. Whether you want to ski, experience winter adventures or eat delicious food, we picked for you few winter getaways around the US that offer it all.

Juniper Springs Resort, Mammoth Lakes, California
Change your sandals for winter boots and head to Mammoth, one of the California’s premier ski resorts. Mather Lodge, Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas

This rustic getaway is an unique escape to see stunning nature and experience fun and adventure activities. The iconic 3,471 acres park is filled with plenty things to see and do including 20 miles of hiking trails around Petit Jean Mountain with overlooks, bridges, and historic structures. Historic treasure, a warm rustic mountain lodge built of native log and stone, combined with natural beauty of overlooking Cedar Creek Canyon – Mather Lodge – is the only lodge built in Arkansas by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Some rooms are designed in rural style and some in modern, all are fully equipped. The lodge offers swimming pool, two small meeting rooms and it is pet friendly.
