High school students can get a scholarship for one-year study stay in the USA

Slovak high school students can spend the 2020/2021 school year at a high school in the US within the Future Leaders Exchange program.

Those interested can submit their applications until October 17. The exchange is financed by the US Department of State and run by the American Council for International Education organization. The scholarship covers costs on plane ticket, accommodation in a host family, the studies at a US school, health insurance, preparatory training and a monthly contribution to social activities. Students pay for getting a passport, other costs that exceed the scholarship or costs related to oversized luggage.
